Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 6, 2026

This policy explains what information Big Pivot Marketing, LLC ("Big Pivot Marketing," "we," "us," "our") collects when you visit bigpivotmarketing.com, contact us, or work with us, and what we do with it. We keep it in plain English. If anything here is unclear, email mike@bigpivotmarketing.com.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a form, book a call, download a guide, email us, or become a client, we collect what you provide. That usually includes:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your phone number
  • Your mailing or business address
  • Your business or practice name, website, and anything you tell us about your work

Client materials. If you work with us, we also handle the recordings, interviews, transcripts, photos, and other content you share or that we create together.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and our service providers collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, time on page, the site that referred you, and general location (city or region, not your exact address).

Cookies and analytics

The site uses cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use it and to improve it. We use:

  • Google Analytics to measure traffic and how people move through the site. How Google uses this data.
  • Microsoft Clarity to see anonymized heatmaps and session recordings of how pages are used (clicks, scrolling, and taps), so we can fix confusing parts of the site. Microsoft's privacy statement.
  • Bing Webmaster Tools and Google Search Console to see how the site appears in search results. These report on search performance, not on you individually.
  • Embedded video (Wistia) to play videos on the site, which may set its own cookies to track playback.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out add-on. The site will still work.

Email tracking

Our emails may include tracking pixels and tracked links so we can see whether a message was opened and which links were clicked. We use this to understand what's useful and to avoid sending things nobody reads. You can block it by turning off automatic image loading in your email app. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.

Text messages

If you give us your phone number and agree to receive texts, we may send messages about your inquiry, appointments, or our services. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. We do not sell or share your phone number or text-messaging consent with third parties for their marketing purposes.

How we use AI

Artificial intelligence is part of how we work. We use AI tools to process and transcribe video and audio, organize and analyze the information you share, and help draft and edit content such as website copy, social posts, emails, and video clips. A person, usually Michael, reviews and shapes what we deliver.

When we use AI tools, your content and information may be processed by those tools' providers on our behalf. We use business accounts with these tools, review their data terms, and only share what's needed to do the work.

How we use your information

  • To reply to you, schedule calls, and provide the services you ask for
  • To create, edit, and deliver your marketing content
  • To send you emails or texts you've signed up for, including our guides and updates
  • To run, secure, and improve the website and our services
  • To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, such as our CRM, scheduling, and email platform (GoHighLevel), website hosting (Vercel), video hosting (Wistia), analytics (Google and Microsoft), payment processors, and the AI and transcription tools described above. They may use your information only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights.

Content we create for clients is published only with the client's approval.

How long we keep it

We keep contact information while we have a working or mailing relationship with you, and client materials for as long as needed to provide the services and keep reasonable business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email mike@bigpivotmarketing.com and we'll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws, and we'll honor them.

Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of storing or sending data online is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site and our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy as our tools or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
